I watched Transformers yesterday evening and ermm.. I gotta say I didn’t quite like it. I was kinda psyche about the movie because Michael Bay is the director and he is good with action sequences… cause he did an excellent job in the movie The Island and Bad Boys 2. Don’t get me wrong the action sequence here is great.. but I find the camera was too close and it was all over the place, cause most of the time, the action scene was a jumble of twisted metal wreckage. I don't know which part is the arm and which part is the leg.

Another thing I don’t like about the movie is the story line. I don’t follow Transformers on cartoons or comic books but placing some sort of a code on a pair of spectacles? Give me a break… And the script below makes the movie goes down the drain:-

Boy: “How did you learn English?”
Autobot: “From the World Wide Web!”
Boy: “How did you find me?”
Optimus Prime: “From Ebay!”

What the heck?
And the one that break the camel’s back is when one of the police officer said to the girl, “She is a criminal and criminals are hot!”

By that time, I was already shaking my head. And star scream didn’t say much. In the cartoon he was always having this power struggle with Megatron, in the movie he was like an obedient slave. I think they didn’t do basic research.
