ashamed of teenagers today, advise to young girls
Dina:
These are just my point of view of ‘teenage sex’, and illegitimated sex. It is such a waste that kids these days are loosing their virginity at such a young age. It is even more disturbing to see pregnant teens walking

around like nothing happened! I seriously feel ashamed on their behalf.

Do they think that they are ‘mature’ enough for all this? I don’t think they are. If they are, don’t you think they would be strong enough to hold their urges?

We are not animals. We are all human. We’re able to think and able to stay morally and ethically strong to keep the urges within. Those differentiate us from animals. Always keep in mind, if anything goes out of plan, like pregnancies, or even STDs should happened, it is not your pride that is at stake, it is also your families’!

Do you know that many underage pregnant girls got admitted in the hospital, with both their weeping parents by their side? WHERE THE HELL WAS THE “FATHER OF THE CHILD’!

And yes I agree with EB that we should get our ISP to filter those sites. Viruses should be released to our computer systems to wipe out MSN. Muahahaha! (I quit msn-ing lately, but turn to skype, hehe!). We are just to exposed to these ‘openness’. I was surprised that EB only know about the ‘F’ word at quite a later age. Imagine what will a 7 year old know by the year 2017?!?!

Just a quick reminder to my younger friends, especially to the young ladies. When you commit yourself to ‘making love’, do not hurt yourself nor the people who loves you most (parents and family). In the end, the choice is yours!

Treasure yourself, treasure your family, and don’t start your own too soon!

Evil Bunny:

Yeah and guys... I don't know how to advise you all. Hahaahah. We all kena curse liao.. this thing call the sex curse... Hmm maybe I should write an article about that.

Note: I have already written about the "Sex Curse"
but its for members only! :P

RazzTee:
Hi Evil Bunny!!
Your cartoons and animations are really really "zesty"!! Never once you had fail to make me laugh. And those articles, teenage sex part 1 & 2...really hit it on the bull's eye! I totally agree with you. The only

way to curb this, is to overcome whatever urge and curiosity on sex through religion. If you are spiritually strong, by God's will, you will know what is right, and what is wrong. Once differentiation is made, you will then will be opened up to 2 choices

a) go ahead and do what's wrong or

b ) retreat and reassess and know that God is watching you, thus totally wiping out the root of the problem.

compliments, comparison with Qatar
Masdiana says:
Another spot-on subject matter covered. Alhamdulillah + kudos to you. I have heard about a pregnant 9-y.o. from an ob-gyn specialist who's also involved with RaudhatusSakinah - sorta shelter house for

cases as such ie. unwanted teenage pregnancy etc, + my exact thoughts were like you - at 9 I was living like a 9-y.o should - playing like there's no tomorrow. + having gone through pregnancy + birth for 4 times now, masya-Allah, I just couldn't imagine what the girl would've gone through.

So I totally agree with the measures to be taken into account - 1st + foremost must be religion, + the best teachers are the parents, starting from themselves when they start the family by choosing each other. Of course in today's world where both parents are working + kids have to get their formal education at schools anyway, teachers + peers play a much bigger role.

Which is why the education system itself must be good enough to include such topics but must be thoroughly thought out before executed (you can insert your whole article on education here :-)). + also, of course in today's small world media brought about by such technologies as internet piques on the curious teenage minds - here in Qatar the internet provider here blocks porn-related sites, which I think is a great help to ease my mind a bit about my kids when they'll surf the net - not that they're into internet or even computers just yet.

Religion is schools, secular
Kitsura says:
"To bring back moral order you have to bring back religion in school." I can't help but disagree with this point. Firstly religion was never in schools. Remember that Singapore is a secular country.

Why should religion play such a big part in a country supposedly non-religious. I mean just take a look at some of the current policies and you will see religious leaders bearing lots of influence (e.g. criminalising homosexuality). This just doesn't make sense in a secular state. In fact what I propose is to totally separate religion and government.

So religion should never play a part in schools or politics.

Evil Bunny replies:
As I mentioned, religion WAS in secular schools before. It's called RK short for Religious Knowledge. It was even tested in the "O" and "N" Levels.... Don't believe ah? Check out my sister's N Levels cert when she was in GuangYang Secondary School.

But the million dollar question is: If they can have religious studies then, please somebody, I'm rolling in tears on the floor while I'm typing this... WHY can't we have religious studies NOW? Using the secular card does not count cause my sister was from a secular school. So why the policy change?

And there's alot of things you can actually learn from Religion. Secular government are just a group of "intellectuals" who think they know better. Religion have scriptures from way back and some of its practices have been proven to curb some of the problems we have today.

Religion in schools
D Ganger says:
I read your article recently and I couldn’t agree more. Right down to the stupidly beyond boring CME textbooks. We DON’T LEARN A THING from it. The only part I think that will have problems is religion.

You wrote, "To bring back moral order you have to bring back religion in school.”

I agree with this solution, but being in secular state like Singapore, it will create some problems… The government doesn’t allow religious talks in school… if you want that, you get religious institutions. And generally, most of the bonkers are at government schools..

I feel it will take them many years to realize that religion does help curb teenage bonking.

Another part that is the problem is our society is getting lazy in child discipline….they don’t communicate well about teenage sex (I am not talking about those cross-sectional shit).
And their religious belief is depleting.

They should talk openly about sex, even religion strongly advice to do this…. (Using religious ways to speak to teenagers)

All in all, I believe that parents play a strong role in teenage sex apart from the government. No such thing as being exhausted from preventing your kids producing kids.

Evil Bunny replies:

Actually they did have religion in schools before - it's called religious studies and my sister took it when she was in Secondary school. But after awhile especially with 9/11 and Islamophobia came to town.. then we see

the anti-Islamists rear their ugly heads and this "secular" word being popularised in government schools.

I don't and never liked a one word excuse.. Before, it's"Generalisation". Now they use the "Secular" card. It's like playing catching and when you nearly tag the guy, he quickly sit down and said "Twist". That was actually the magic word we would use. It's stupid then and it's still stupid now. But I agree with what you say.... Sigh... Oh well, if Parenst AND the Government don't tackle this eroding morals in our youths.. then we just have to be prepared for more abortions, younger couples having sex, perhaps the birth of local pornstars, increase of AIDS, increase cases of STDs, more abandoned old folks, more crime, more suicides, more shit... Everybody.. brace yourselves!
